Missionary Man

Ryder, a mysterious stranger, arrives in a small town on his motorcycle carrying little besides a Bible and a determination to settle an old score. He has come because of the death of a friend, and he soon discovers that the friend was murdered rather than lost to other causes. Behind the killing stands a local businessman, John Reno, who is willing to go to any lengths to build a casino on land belonging to a Native American reservation. Ryder confronts Reno and his men, and the townspeople, who have long lived under the businessman's arbitrary rule, find their situation changed.

Dolph Lundgren directed the film, his second time behind the camera after The Russian Specialist, and he stars as Ryder. He wrote the screenplay with Frank Valdez, and Andrew Stevens produced. The cast includes Sophia Ali as Kid, Chelsea Ricketts as Kiowa, Matthew Tompkins as John Reno, James Chalke as Sheriff Acoma and John Enos III as Jarfe. Twenty-nine actors and fifty-three crew members are credited. The film runs 93 minutes and was made for about 4 million dollars.

Missionary Man was released in 2007.
