Light of the World

Set in 30 AD, this animated story follows the life of Jesus from the start of his ministry through his crucifixion and resurrection. While he does not fit the expectations many had for the Messiah, a group of followers including Peter, Andrew, James, and John are drawn to him. The narrative is presented from the perspective of the apostle John, who views Jesus as a close friend.
