Lovebirds

Lovebirds is an upcoming Iranian drama that examines the fallout of a broken engagement between a man named Masoud and his fiancée, Maniya. Their relationship was defined by childish playfulness and sadomasochistic elements. When Maniya suddenly disappears and ends the romance without explanation, Masoud enters a period of grief as he struggles to process the loss and move forward with his life.

The short film is written and directed by Sara Mokhavat and is produced by Noor Venturous Production. The project has a runtime of 23 minutes.
