The Wailing of the Maghrib 2

The Wailing of the Maghrib 2 follows a group of children in the village of Giritirto who accidentally awaken an ancient evil spirit known as Jin Ummu Sibyan. After a dispute following a football game, the children utter a careless curse at dusk, leading to disappearances and possession. Adi, who suffered a loss involving this same entity twenty years earlier in Jatijajar, observes these events and seeks to destroy the spirit once and for all.

This Indonesian horror mystery was directed by Sidharta Tata, who also wrote the screenplay alongside Khalid Kashogi and Bayu Kurnia. In Tata's career, this project follows his work on The Wailing of the Maghrib, Ali Topan, Soul Reaper, and Sakaratul Maut, and precedes Ikatan Darah. The film features a cast of 25 credited performers, including Omar Daniel, Anantya Kirana, Sulthan Hamonangan, Ghazi Alhabsyi, Muzakki Ramdhan, and Sadana Agung. Produced by Legacy Pictures, Kebon Studio, Rapi Films, and Sky Media, the movie has a runtime of 107 minutes.
