When Claire first visits Eric, she learns that he is the vice president of the brokerage firm "Kahane-Drake". The firm's name is composed of the surnames of the film's executive producers.
The license plates in the film read "Beautiful Evergreen State" — a combination of the slogans on license plates in British Columbia, Canada ("Beautiful British Columbia"), where the film was shot, and Washington State ("The Evergreen State").
Eric's address is Canada, British Columbia Province, Vancouver, 1007 East Cordova Street.
