Salvation

Set in the mountains of Turkey, this drama focuses on the renewed tension between two communities when an exiled clan returns to claim their ancestral land. This homecoming awakens long-standing disputes and power struggles between the villagers of the plains and those on the slopes. Amidst this instability, a man named Mesut experiences divine visions that lead him to challenge his brother's authority in an attempt to protect their people. As religious beliefs and paranoia grow, the fragile peace between the two groups is threatened.

The film was written and directed by Emin Alper, following his 2022 work Burning Days. The production was a collaboration between companies from several countries, including Turkey, France, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Greece, and the Netherlands Antilles. The ensemble cast features Caner Cindoruk as Mesut, alongside Berkay Ateş, Feyyaz Duman, Naz Göktan, Özlem Taş, and Eren Demir.
