Tova Sullivan is an elderly widow who works night shifts at a local aquarium to cope with her grief. While employed there, she forms unexpected friendships with a young man named Cameron and an intelligent giant Pacific octopus called Marcellus. Together, they become entangled in a series of events that lead to a significant discovery regarding Tova's past and her long-lost son. This drama, which blends fantasy and mystery elements, is based on a bestselling novel.
