Cinderella II: Dreams Come True

Cinderella II: Dreams Come True continues the story after Cinderella's marriage to the Prince, as she settles into her new life at the royal palace and finds that her duties there are harder than she expected. The film is built around three separate tales told from a book that her mice friends put together for her. In them, Cinderella prepares a royal celebration on her own terms despite the stiff etiquette of the court, the mouse Jaq asks the Fairy Godmother to turn him into a human and then has second thoughts about the change, and Cinderella's stepsister Anastasia falls for a baker against her mother's wishes, with Cinderella choosing to help her.

The film was directed by John Kafka and written by Tom Rogers, Jule Selbo and Jill E. Blotevogel, with Mary Thorne producing. It was made by Disney Television Animation together with Walt Disney Animation Japan on a budget of about 5 million dollars, and runs 74 minutes. Jennifer Hale voices Cinderella, with Rob Paulsen, Corey Burton, Andre Stojka, Russi Taylor and Susanne Blakeslee among the voice cast. Released in 2002, it was the first feature Kafka directed. On IMDb it holds a rating of 5 out of 10 from around 16,000 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 6.1 out of 10 from roughly 1,500 votes. A critics' rating of 3.7 out of 10 from 8 reviews places it below both audience scores.
