Short description
A group of small birds gathers on a telephone wire, where they struggle with the lack of personal space and bicker among themselves. Their dynamic changes when a large, unusual bird arrives and attempts to join the group. The smaller birds respond by mocking the newcomer's appearance and behavior. However, the large bird persists in seeking their friendship, eventually landing in the middle of the wire and causing it to sag deeply under its weight, leading to an embarrassing outcome for the clique.
Directed and written by Ralph Eggleston, this 2000 animated comedy was produced by Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures in the United States. The short film has a runtime of four minutes and features Ralph Eggleston providing the uncredited voice for a bird.
