Summertime in Ukraine

Summertime in Ukraine is a war documentary focusing on volunteers serving within the Ronin Team, a unit of the International Legion. The film explores the bonds of friendship formed between the soldiers as they live and train together. This camaraderie is tested by the physical demands of a harsh summer and a rigorous service pace that some recruits struggle to maintain. These internal challenges occur alongside the external pressure of reports regarding a Russian offensive at the front.

The film was produced by Babylon'13 and directed by Volodymyr Tykhyy, who also served as a producer alongside Andrii Kotliar. This project is the seventh film in Tykhyy's career, released in 2025 after No Shade In The Forest and before Time Machine Maidan. The documentary has a runtime of 84 minutes. Based on a small number of votes, the film holds a rating of 4.4/10 on TMDB.
