A Colombian man named Machado lives in France, where he is tasked with returning to Medellín to steal an emerald. As he carries out this dangerous mission, he becomes involved in a sequence of events that cause him to question the purpose of the theft. The story explores themes of deception, contrasting the greed of the wealthy with the harsh realities of necessity.

This crime film was directed by Simón Vélez and written by Paulo Carneiro, who also served as a producer alongside Vélez.
