Death Wish II

Death Wish II continues the story of Paul Kersey, an architect who has moved from New York to Los Angeles to rebuild his life with his new partner, radio journalist Geri Nichols. When his housekeeper is killed and his daughter is attacked by a group of criminals, the assault ends in her death, and Kersey once again takes the law into his own hands, hunting down those responsible while police and prosecutors try to stop him.

Charles Bronson returns as Kersey, with Jill Ireland as Geri Nichols and Vincent Gardenia, J.D. Cannon, Anthony Franciosa and Ben Frank in supporting roles. Michael Winner directed and co-wrote the screenplay with David Engelbach, and the film was produced by Menahem Golan and Yoram Globus. It is the ninth of thirteen films Winner directed in chronological order, following The Sentinel and preceding Death Wish 3.

Made for a budget of 8 million USD, the film took about 45 million USD worldwide. On IMDb it holds 6 out of 10 from more than 17,500 votes, and on TMDB 6.2 out of 10 from over 550 votes, while the critics' rating stands at 4.1 out of 10 from 18 reviews, well below the audience scores.
