The Breadwinner

The Breadwinner is a family comedy about Nate Wilcox, a man who has always been the primary financial provider for his household. When his wife, Katie, secures a rare business opportunity through the show Shark Tank that requires her to travel for an extended period, Nate must step into the role of a stay-at-home father. He struggles to manage the domestic duties and care for their three children while attempting to keep the home from falling apart.

The film was directed by Eric Appel, following his previous work on Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Die Hart, and Die Hart 2: Die Harter. The screenplay was written by Nate Bargatze and Dan Lagana. The movie stars Nate Bargatze in the title role alongside Mandy Moore, with supporting performances by Stella Grace Fitzgerald, Birdie Borria, Charlotte Ann Tucker, and Colin Jost.
