Morir no siempre sale bien

Following an unfair dismissal, Rosario's brother and husband find themselves unemployed and burdened by debt. In an attempt to secure funds, they kidnap the corpse of their former employer to demand a ransom. However, they encounter unexpected resistance from the deceased man's wealthy wife, Inés, and her children. Although the two families come from vastly different social backgrounds, their conflict leads to an exchange that extends far beyond the returned body.

This Spanish comedy was directed by Claudia Pinto Emperador, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Luis Moreno. The film is the third feature directed by Emperador, following The Consequences in 2021 and While You're Still You in 2024. Produced by Tornasol Films and Voramar Films, the movie premiered on June 26, 2026.
