Adela is an eleven-year-old Romani girl living in a Skopje ghetto. When her family suffers a financial crisis, her mother intends to sell her older sister, Zara, through a traditional bridal market. To prevent this, Adela attempts to earn money by entering a skateboarding competition. Because her culture discourages girls from the sport, she must seek help from a group of skaters at her school. This journey forces her to navigate the tension between traditional expectations and modern values.
