Two Seasons, Two Strangers

This Japanese drama follows two separate encounters across different times of the year. During the summer, Nagisa and Natsuo meet on a beach and share quiet, hesitant moments together while facing a storm. In winter, a screenwriter named Li travels to a snowy village for inspiration. She stays at a run-down guesthouse managed by Benzo, a reserved man whose history gradually emerges as they spend time together.

Written and directed by Sho Miyake, this film follows his previous works Good for Nothing, Small, Slow But Steady, and All the Long Nights. The cast features Shim Eun-kyung as Li and Yumi Kawai as Nagisa, alongside Mansaku Takada as Natsuo, Yoichiro Saito as Isogai, Shinichiro Matsuura as Ayukawa, and Trotsky McClendon as Student.
