Who needs you?

After a marriage that lasted only three months, Askhat returns to a bachelor's life. When his former wife, Gulzhan, visits to retrieve her belongings, he discovers she intends to marry another man. During a heated confrontation, Gulzhan tells him that he is undesirable to any woman. Feeling insulted, Askhat falsely claims he has a new girlfriend who is superior to his ex-wife and vows to bring her as his date to Gulzhan's upcoming wedding.

This comedy was directed by Anvar Matzhanov, following his 2024 projects Brother or Marriage 3 and I'll Drop You. It precedes his 2026 film Getting Married Is Easy. The screenplay was written by Sabit Rakhimbayev, Nurali Sultanov, and Meirman Nurlybek, with Rakhimbayev also serving as the producer.
