Marie-Lou Fontaine manages a nursing home in the suburbs of Paris, where she attempts to implement a care philosophy based on dignity and listening. She faces opposition from her staff while trying to establish these innovative methods. Her life changes after meeting Mari Morisaki, a Japanese theater professional battling a terminal illness. Through a deep bond of mutual support, the two women work together to challenge systemic limitations and transform the facility into a place of humanity.
This drama was directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi, who also wrote the screenplay with Léa Le Dimna.
