Short description

Gail Daughtry, a hairdresser in a small Kansas town, has a lighthearted agreement with her fiancé: each of them may name a celebrity they would be allowed to sleep with. When he actually acts on his pass with Jennifer Aniston, Gail sets out to even the score, travelling to Los Angeles with her friend Otto to track down her own pick, Jon Hamm. Their search turns into a chaotic trip through Hollywood, drawing in a fortune teller, the actor John Slattery and a group of hired killers, in a comedy released in July 2026 and running 94 minutes.

The film is the eighth directed by David Wain and follows titles including Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, Wanderlust and A Futile and Stupid Gesture. Wain wrote the screenplay with Ken Marino, who also appears as Vincent; both serve among the producers alongside Anthony Bregman and Peter Cron. Zoey Deutch leads as Gail, with Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Otto, Ben Wang as Caleb, Sabrina Impacciatore as Ludovica and Slattery playing a version of himself, among a credited cast of 36.

Made for 4 million USD, it returned about 1 million USD worldwide. On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.2 out of 10 from 37 votes.
