Runner

Cris is an elite athlete who focuses her life on track and field. While preparing for an 800-meter event at the Spanish National Championships, the intense pressure leads her to suffer a severe psychotic break. The story follows her recovery process as she attempts to reconcile her mental health with her ambition to return to competition. During this transition, her sister Natalia provides essential support, helping her accept her condition and find a new pace for her life.

This Spanish drama was directed by Laura García Alonso, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Pol Cortecans. The film features Alba Sáez in the lead role as Cris, supported by Marina Salas as Natalia and Àlex Brendemühl as Sergi. Other cast members include Ot Serra Bas, Marta Bayarri, and Jordi Farrés.
