Joe Speedboot

Joe Speedboot is a drama centered on the relationship between two men in the quiet village of Lomark. Fransje Hermans lives a restricted existence after a strange accident leaves him unable to speak or move, with only one arm remaining functional. His outlook changes when he meets Joe Speedboot, a charismatic newcomer who becomes his unexpected friend.

The film was directed by Sam de Jong and written by Jan Eilander and Daniël Samkalden. It is a co-production between the Netherlands, Belgium, and the Netherlands Antilles, involving production companies BALDR and CZAR Belgium. The cast features Tobias Kersloot in the title role and Daan Buringa as Fransje Hermans. Other cast members include QiQi van Boheemen, Ramses van Hall, Chris Peters, and Janni Goslinga.
