Screamers: The Hunting

Following a distress signal, a team of humans travels to the planet Sirius 6-B, a place believed to be empty after the devastation caused by killer robots known as screamers. Upon arrival, the squad encounters survivors living in a remote military outpost. The group soon discovers that the robotic threats have evolved, gaining the ability to mimic human appearances, which creates an atmosphere of paranoia as the team attempts to leave the planet.

This action and horror science fiction film was directed by Sheldon Wilson, marking his second feature after Kaw. The screenplay was written by Miguel Tejada-Flores and produced by Stefan Wodoslawsky and Paul Pope through Pope Productions. The movie was a joint production between Canada and the United States and features a cast including Gina Holden as Lt. Victoria Bronte, Jana Pallaske, Lance Henriksen, Greg Bryk, Christopher Redman, and Tim Rozon.

The film has received a lukewarm response from viewers. It holds a rating of 4.7/10 on IMDb based on 6,000 votes and a slightly higher score of 4.9/10 on TMDB from 159 votes.
