Anaconda 3: Offspring

A wealthy businessman hires a team of hunters and a scientist to track down giant anacondas that have escaped from a secret laboratory. The snakes, altered by scientific experiments, head toward populated areas, and the group must stop them before the reptiles can do further damage. The mercenary leader Hammet and Dr. Amanda Hayes are among those drawn into the pursuit ordered by the businessman Murdoch.

Don E. FauntLeRoy directed the film, his fourth feature after Today You Die, Mercenary for Justice and Urban Justice, and the first of two Anaconda films he made in consecutive years. David Hasselhoff plays Hammet, Crystal Allen plays Dr. Amanda Hayes, and John Rhys-Davies plays Murdoch. The screenplay is by Nicholas Davidoff and David C. Olson, with Alison Semenza producing. The film is a Romanian and American co-production made for television, running 91 minutes and mixing action, adventure, fantasy, horror and thriller elements.

On IMDb the film holds a rating of 2.8 from around 9,500 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 4.6 from roughly 389 votes. Both figures place it low among the titles in its genre, with the much smaller TMDB sample giving a somewhat higher average than the larger IMDb one.
