Short description

The Theft of the Caravaggio is a crime mystery centering on the disappearance of a valuable painting from St. John's Cathedral in Valletta. The artwork was stolen while under the watch of a man named Orpheus, leaving him to face the consequences of the loss. As tension grows within the city, a detective from Washington arrives to collaborate with the local police to identify the thief and recover the piece.

Directed by Joshua Cassar Gaspar, who also produced the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Monika Maslowska, this production is a joint effort between the United Kingdom and Malta. The movie features a cast including Paul Kissaun in the role of Orpheus, alongside Elektra Anastasi as Leone, Robert Grose as Hades, Peter Galea as Portelli, Stephen Mintoff as Horace, and Polly Highton as Maryanne. With a runtime of 90 minutes, the film blends elements of drama and thriller.
