Short description

Quasi Vera is an upcoming Italian comedy about Diego, an aspiring actor who struggles to find success after numerous failed auditions and minor roles. Facing a personal crisis, he uses his knowledge of information technology and artificial intelligence to reinvent himself. He creates Vera, a seemingly perfect virtual influencer who attracts millions of followers through a combination of wit, sensuality, and clips of goals scored by the Italian national football team. As Vera becomes a media phenomenon, Diego must deal with the results of his actions and the blurring line between the real and virtual worlds.

The film is directed by Fausto Brizzi, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Roberto Lipari and Ignazio Rosato. This project follows Brizzi's previous work, including The Night Before the Exams, Poorly Rich, Poorly Richer, Modalità aereo, and Where Storks Dare. The production was handled by MiC, Medusa Film, and Tramp LTD, with Attilio De Razza and Nicola Picone serving as producers. The movie features Frank Matano in the lead role of Diego and Taylor Mega as Vera, supported by a credited crew of 49 people. The film has a runtime of 90 minutes.
