Origin: Spirits of the Past

Set three centuries in the future, this story takes place on an Earth devastated by human interference, leaving the remnants of civilization to struggle against a sentient, dominating forest. While some people attempt to live in harmony with nature, others seek to reclaim the world through force. The balance of this society is disrupted when a boy named Agito discovers a glowing machine in a forbidden sanctuary, awakening a girl named Toola from the distant past. Toola carries a mission to restore civilization, leading her to form an alliance with the ambitious Shunack, while Agito seeks to protect her by gaining forbidden powers from the forest.
