Luisa follows a young woman who has moved from her parents' home into a residential facility for people with disabilities near a small German town. While receiving support for her turbulent life, Luisa becomes increasingly withdrawn. The situation escalates when she is found to be pregnant, but she refuses to explain how it happened. Because her boyfriend, Anton, is known to be infertile, authorities suspect sexual abuse. Luisa chooses to terminate the pregnancy, leading to a police investigation. The ensuing legal process serves as a grueling test for Luisa, her relationship with Anton, and the facility staff.
