A cheerful student named Lena is assigned to a social project where she serves as a writing coach for Hugo Drowak. Hugo is a lonely man living in a decaying apartment building who has lost his sense of luck. Despite his difficult personality, Lena remains convinced that everyone deserves a second chance and strives to inspire his creativity.
