Project Barbeque

Project Barbeque is a Philippine drama about a young woman named Elly who reconnects with her former high school friend, Zoe. Through this reunion, Elly discovers a lively art collective. This new environment offers her a sense of creative liberation that contrasts with the strict expectations and life path her family has established for her.

The short film has a runtime of 21 minutes and was released on May 16, 2025. It was directed by Nyle Justin Bacolod and Niel Andrew Feliciano, with a screenplay written by Tristan Josh Ebale. The production was a collaboration between CINEPHYLE, Greenlight Pictures, Port-A-Cam, and USC CINEMA, and was produced by Febe Bongato, Victor Villanueva, and Norwyn Bacolod. The main cast features Megrez San Juan in the role of Elly, Yasu Al-Dawood as Zoe, Ambrosio "Jojo" Flores II as Francis, and Chai Fonacier as Acting Coach Judith.
