David Gilmour: Live at the Circus Maximus

This music film documents David Gilmour performing at the historic Circus Maximus in Rome during his 2024 Luck and Strange tour. This event marked his first tour in nearly ten years. Set against the backdrop of ancient Roman ruins, the concert features a blend of solo material from his most recent album, Luck and Strange, and classic songs from Pink Floyd. The performance includes a collaboration with Romany Gilmour on the track Between Two Points, alongside well-known songs such as Comfortably Numb, Wish You Were Here, and Time.

The film was produced by Serpent Films and directed by Gavin Elder, who previously directed Duran Duran: A Hollywood High in 2022. The cast features David Gilmour on lead vocals and guitar, accompanied by musicians Guy Pratt on bass, Ben Worsley on guitar, Adam Betts on drums, Greg Phillinganes on keyboards, and Rob Gentry on keyboards. Dione Orrom served as the producer for this 142-minute production. The movie was released on September 17, 2025, as a cinematic record of a tour that consisted of 23 sold-out dates across five different cities.
