Park Do-soon, the founder of Suneung(South Korea's College Scholastic Ability Test), had failed in his own university entrance exam. His creation—Suneung—would face similar trials. Amid the growing controversy, Suneung and the broader admissions reform faced the threat of being scrapped altogether. Ultimately, compromises were made, such as including science and social studies in the test.
