An art expert living in Montreal is hired by a collector to travel to Bulgaria and evaluate the work of Nina, an eight-year-old girl whose paintings became an internet sensation. This assignment marks Mihail's first return to his home country in three decades. While investigating whether the child actually created the art, he encounters memories of his own past and reflects on his relationship with his daughter, Rose.
Directed and written by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles, this drama is a co-production between Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, and Canada. The film features Galin Stoev in the lead role as Mihail, alongside Sofia Stanina as Nina. The supporting cast includes Chiara Caselli, Christian Bégin, and Michelle Tzontchev.
