Black Rabbit, White Rabbit

Set in Tajikistan, this drama and thriller follows several individuals whose lives eventually cross paths. A filmmaker is working on a remake of a traditional Iranian movie while a studio armorer grows anxious that a weapon on set is real rather than a prop. As a young woman arrives at the production demanding an audition, a woman named Sara recovers from a car accident and discovers her crash was the result of a conspiracy.

The film was directed by Shahram Mokri, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Nasim Ahmadpour. The production was a collaboration between Tajikfilm and Karnameh Dubai, with Negar Eskandarfar serving as producer. The cast features Babak Karimi as Babak / Antonio, Hasti Mohammaï as Sara, Kibriyo Dilyobova as Donya, Bezhan Davlyatov as Bezhan, Suhrob Janjolov as Calon, and Ortiq Qodir as Nazarov. This United Arab Emirates and Tajikistan production has a runtime of 139 minutes.
