The Suitors

Lydia travels to the countryside to visit friends and clear her mind after receiving romantic declarations from two different men. Rather than finding peace, she enters a world of passion and drama. In the village, a woman named Maie faces a similar dilemma between two suitors. While Maie is attracted to the honest Märt, her greedy father, Peeter, rejects him because of a long-standing grudge against Märt's social class. These romantic complications in the village intertwine with Koidula's own creative pursuits.

This Estonian comedy was directed by Ergo Kuld and written by Ott Kilusk.
