The Doodle

The Doodle is an Australian comedy about Nick and Angie, two strangers and single parents who initially clash after being summoned to their children's school principal's office. Their mutual dislike evolves into an unexpected connection when they are required to participate in a progressive parenting workshop together.

The short film was written and directed by Laura Walls, who also served as a producer alongside Jules Homes. The project was produced by Good Omen Films and features Joel Ozborn in the role of Nick, Bron Lewis as Angie, and Damien Power as Ross. With a runtime of 18 minutes, the film was released on June 13, 2025.
