My Father, the BTK Killer

My Father, the BTK Killer is a crime documentary centred on Kerri Rawson, whose father led a monstrous double life as the BTK serial killer. Raised without knowing the truth about the man who brought her up, she tells her own account of discovering what he had done. The film sets her testimony alongside archive material and interviews with people from her childhood and with law enforcement figures connected to the case, among them a former Wichita chief of police and a representative of the Osage County Sheriff's Office.

Skye Borgman directed. The film sits in a run of documentaries she made in the mid-2020s, released the same year as Evil Influencer: The Jodi Hildebrandt Story and Unknown Number: The High School Catfish, and following her 2022 film Girl in the Picture. Rebecca Evans and Ross M. Dinerstein produced for Campfire Studios, and the credited cast runs to 36 people.

The film runs 94 minutes and was released in October 2025. On TMDB it holds a rating of 6.7 out of 10 from 66 votes, a modest but positive response from a limited number of viewers.
