RIP is an Italian comedy about Leonardo, a disillusioned writer of obituaries who lives a solitary life. His routine is disrupted when he forms a friendship with a group of eccentric ghosts. Among these spirits is the ghost of his father, who appears as a youthful and energetic man, contrasting sharply with the distant parent Leonardo remembers. Through a series of absurd events, Leonardo navigates the intersection of past and present to discover how to overcome his fear of living.
The film was directed by Alessandro D'Ambrosi and Santa De Santis, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Giuseppe Carrieri. It was produced by Alessandro Gatto through Minerva Pictures Group and NVP Studios. The movie has a runtime of 97 minutes.
