The Will is a comedy set in the early 1990s between a village and the industrial city of Zenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The story examines how the presence or absence of a legal will impacts local culture and personal relationships. Asad, the central character, finds himself without his father's inheritance, leading him to navigate a world of rural struggles and city taverns. Along with his friend Dževad, who prefers shortcuts to solve his own persistent problems, Asad deals with a variety of social conflicts involving gossip, gambling, and theft as traditional customs clash with human flaws.
The film was written and directed by Mirza Begović and produced by Ajdin Hasanić and Nevres Softić through HudHud Pro. The cast features Zlatan Školjić in the role of Asad and Nusmir Muharemović as Dževdo, alongside Josip Pejaković, Izudin Bajrović, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, and Irfan Kasumović. With a runtime of 108 minutes, the production focuses on the intersection of family inheritance and societal expectations within a specific regional setting.
