Adam's Eight

Based on a true story, this drama follows Karl Adam, a rowing coach in 1950s Germany. He assembles a team of outsiders and underdogs, using unconventional methods to provide them with a sense of purpose. While facing opposition from sports officials and the tensions of the Cold War, the group works to overcome personal and ideological struggles. Their efforts lead to unexpected success, culminating in an Olympic gold medal in Rome in 1960.
