Love and Wine

A privileged young man employed by his wealthy father falls for a hardworking medical student. To win her over, he lies about his affluent background, pretending he comes from a modest family like her own. This deception leads to a comedic series of chaotic events and emotional revelations.

Produced by Quizzical Pictures in South Africa, this romantic comedy was directed by Amanda Lane, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Zelipa Zulu and Darrel Bristow-Bovey. The film features a large ensemble with 55 credited cast members, including Ntobeko Sishi, Masali Baduza, Thandolwethu Zondi, Thando Thabethe, Bongile Mantsai, and Desmond Dube.
