Doll

This Russian drama follows Nadya, a woman struggling to rebuild her life after serving a prison sentence for killing her unfaithful fiancé. Upon her release, she seeks to locate the daughter she gave birth to while incarcerated. Supported by her friend Andrei, Nadya faces the challenge of integrating back into society while dealing with the psychological trauma of her past. As she searches for her child, her grief and maternal longing cause her to retreat into a vivid imaginary world, making it increasingly difficult for her to distinguish between reality and her subconscious.

The film was written and directed by Egor Beroev. It features Anna Pankratova in the lead role of Nadya and Nikita Tezin as Andrei. The production was carried out by the Film Laboratory and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Released on April 30, 2026, the movie has a runtime of 90 minutes.
