A ventriloquist named Archibald performs his final show with a puppet called Chucklehead before taking his own life in a hotel room. His negative energy transfers into the puppet, turning it into a killer. Chucklehead then begins a violent spree, targeting hotel employees, people at a class reunion, and random passersby.

Written by Aaron Drake, this drama and horror hybrid was directed by Mark Polonia. It is the 15th film in the director's career, released after Robocidal and before You're All Doomed. The production was a collaboration between SRS Cinema, Polonia Brothers Entertainment, and Very Scary Productions.
