Acid City

Set in a dystopian future, Acid City depicts a society adrift in toxic waters under an intense sun. This animation explores how the residents build a social fabric and remain resilient despite a climate catastrophe. The film examines the relationship between the city and extreme heat and water, incorporating real audio recordings and interviews with rescue workers, hydrologists, and residents of New York City alongside fictional characters.

The film was directed by Jack Wedge and Will Freudenheim, with Wedge also writing the screenplay. Produced in the United States by Laser Days Studios and Miyu Distribution, this 12-minute production blends the animation, documentary, and science fiction genres.
