The Unicorn That Said No

An upcoming animated fantasy film for families, this story follows a unicorn born in the Forest of Hearts. Unlike other unicorns, this creature is stubborn and constantly refuses everything, leading its family to give it a nickname based on its negativity. Seeking a different life, the unicorn leaves its sugary home to travel toward nowhere. Along the way, it forms an unlikely group with a disobedient raccoon, an indifferent watchdog, and a princess who constantly argues. Together, the four friends discover that being stubborn is more enjoyable when shared with others.

Directed and written by Marc-Uwe Kling, the production is a German project involving X Filme Creative Pool, Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, and Studio Soi. The voice cast features Marc-Uwe Kling as the lead unicorn, alongside Karoline Herfurth as the princess, Nora Tschirner as the raccoon, Torsten Sträter as the dog, and Carolin Kebekus as a polar bear. The film is scheduled for release on January 1, 2027.
