2012 Doomsday

Four strangers travel to an ancient temple in Mexico as the world faces a predicted apocalypse on December 21, 2012. While NASA scientists attribute the coming disaster to a cataclysmic polar shift, others look to Mayan prophecies. The group seeks a hidden key within a cave to enter the Pyramid of the Moon, which is believed to hold the only means of saving humanity from total destruction.

Directed and written by Nick Everhart, this film was the first of two directing credits for him, followed by InstaPsycho in 2020. The production was a collaboration between The Asylum and Faith Films. The cast includes Dale Midkiff, Cliff DeYoung, Ami Dolenz, Danae Nason, Joshua Lee, and Sara Tomko, with a total of 55 credited cast members and 70 credited crew.

The movie received poor reception from viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 1.8/10 based on 7,800 votes. Similarly, on TMDB, the film has a rating of 3.2/10 from 132 votes.
