Monster

Set in Tokyo in 2003, this science fiction horror film follows two aspiring documentary filmmakers who become trapped in the city. After a massive earthquake causes widespread destruction and panic, the women attempt to uncover the cause of the disaster. They discover that a giant creature living beneath the earth is responsible for the tremors and is attempting to reach the surface.

Directed by Erik Estenberg, the movie was produced by The Asylum and features a cast including Erin Evans, Sarah Lieving, Jennifer Kim, Justin L. Jones, Kazuyuki Okada, and Yoshi Ando. With a runtime of 86 minutes, the action film was released on January 18, 2008.

Audience reception for the film has been poor. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 2/10 based on 1,600 votes, while on TMDB, the rating is slightly higher at 3.2/10 from 31 votes.
