Graduation Day

A seamstress named Lola Nelia cares for her three grandchildren after their parents die. The family faces further hardship when one of the grandchildren, Paolo, is killed in an accident. This leaves Nelia and her grandson Simon, who works while attending school, as the sole providers for their struggling household and a sibling with special needs. The family finds new hope as Simon nears his university graduation with honors.
