A Man in the Woods with an Axe

This upcoming American horror film follows a group of young volunteers who enter a forest to remove litter. While there, they are hunted by a mysterious figure armed with an axe. The story utilizes traditional slasher tropes but introduces unexpected plot developments that challenge the typical conventions of the genre.

The project is directed by Dillon Brown, who also serves as a producer and appears in the cast as the Camera Man. This film follows his previous directorial efforts, which include Tahoe Joe 2: The Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Conspiracy, The Summer We Died, Tahoe Joe 3: Concrete Wilderness, and Primal Darkness. The movie is produced by Brown alongside Joshua Brucker and Hunter Nino through Horror Dadz Productions and Echo Cell Productions. The ensemble cast features Michael Rock as the titular antagonist and Hannah Welty as Rachel, with John Potash, Dustin Tamplen, and Eric Biron appearing as various redneck characters.
