Hearing

Ninh is a mechanic whose job involves installing decibel meters in residential and public areas. While he handles the technical aspects of sound, he struggles with the silence and emotional distance between himself and his loved ones. He longs for his ex-wife, Ngoc, and their children, and hopes that his estranged parents will eventually reconcile. As the noise in both his professional and private life increases, he is forced to confront the instability of his relationships.

This drama was written and directed by Lê Bảo, following his 2014 film Scent. It is an international co-production involving companies from Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and France. The film stars Quốc Tuấn in the lead role of Ninh, alongside Ngọc Tản as his mother and Khánh Huyền as Ngoc. The movie has a runtime of 128 minutes.
