Dreams of Violets

Set in Tehran during January 2026, Dreams of Violets is a drama inspired by nearly five decades of Iranian civilian resistance. The story follows five strangers who are discovered by a soldier in a dead-end alley while security forces target wounded protesters at dawn. Watching the scene from a window, a child in a wheelchair named Amir decides to intervene. The film uses the perspectives of these strangers to bring protest footage to life.

This United Kingdom production was written and directed by Ash Koosha, who also served as a producer alongside Pooya Kooshanezhad. Produced by Fountain 0, the film has a runtime of 75 minutes.
